🔩 Chain Conveyor Manufacturing at Kian Industry

Kian Industry’s chain conveyors are designed and manufactured in accordance with DIN 8167 standards for steel chains and ISO 5048 for force calculations. For hazardous environments (coal dust, grains, sugar), ATEX models with brass or spark-proof chains and flights are available. Additionally, in food and pharmaceutical industries, all parts in contact with the material are manufactured from stainless steel 304 or 316 with a satin finish and FDA certification.

Non-destructive testing (NDT) on critical welds and chain crack inspection using ultrasound equipment are performed before delivery. A 24-month warranty and 10-year after-sales service apply to all models.

What is a Chain Conveyor and How Does It Work?

A chain conveyor is a device that uses one or two steel chains with flights to convey bulk materials inside a metal trough or tube. The gearmotor drives the chain through a special sprocket. Material enters the trough from the inlet hopper, and the flights push it along the entire path to the discharge point.
